Wayne Gehris, with 25 years of experience leading public-sector financial operations, was approved by the school board as CBSD's new CFO on June 25. He will join CB from Reading School District, where he has served as CFO since 2014.
Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, First Congressional District of Pennsylvania, visited Lenape Middle School on Tuesday May 26, 2026 to honor 9th grade students who were award winners in C-SPAN’s annual student documentary competition, Student Cam.
This year’s competition theme focused on America’s 250th Anniversary, exploring the American Story through the Declaration of Independence.
Three 9th grade students were awarded Honorable Mentions in the 2026 C-SPAN Student Cam competition. Rep. Fitzpatrick met with the students, screened their films and presented each student with congressional recognition during his visit.
